Welcome Septem-ber!!
September already?? Well it appears August came and went without finishing my newsletter! How time flies! August was super busy and eventful...not all good though.
|
I flew to California for our sisters’ trip. Four of us sisters then few to Colorado to visit our 5th sister in Loveland! We had a great time site seeing, a lil hiking, and always so so much fun being together! Colorado Has lots of God’s beautiful art work! We drove up into Wyoming also. I wanted to go horseback riding but it was an hr ride and I didn’t know if my back could handle that. Plus only one other sister would have joined me! I made us all a cute Tee shirt in our favorite colors. I heat pressed vinyl “5 Sisters”. Then under that I numbered each one according to birth date. I’m number 2!

It was a great sister trip. I then flew back to California and went to Chico to spend time with my oldest sister, Karen. Few days before I was to return home, Karen (Sister #1) suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhagic stroke. She’s doing great now but will not be out of woods for about a year. She’s still in icu but will transfer out in couple days.... hopefully! No neurological deficits thank God! Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes! I love my customers/group members!

Oh...and the contest guessing if I’d finish my travel bag??? Well...I didn’t! I had so much trouble with thread, bought more, same issues. Then got side tracked making czaw wallets for my sisters while waiting on thread to arrive. I was on a roll making 5. Then messed up my machine. I decided to just do the tee shirts and mail the wallets later. Although I do love how excited they get when I make them something! Oh well! And the winner of the contest is.... number 15!
