Plus, don’t forget about my huge Christmas giveaway! It’s going to be a Thor version of a 1541, or a skiver, or $1000 Sunny Sewing Center gift card from Barb’s Bags, got interfacing?! Enter now by starting your gratitude jar, and post your jar pic monthly in comments of pinned post. See pinned post for details. Sorry guys, for international members, I don’t believe Sunnys ships internationally.

And probably most important, Wovenfuse2 should be back in stock tomorrow, September 12th! Finally! I’m sooo sorry guys! This shipment not only suffered Covid delays, but the supplier mis-marked the package count and customs would not clear until that was corrected. And no one seems to be in a hurry to do anything! I’ve ordered lots more to help prevent future delays. Thank you all for your patience and continued support! I have best customers ever!

Supporting Small Business
My passion is for the needy, the little guy. What people don’t understand is that being kind, and supportive, helps your small business in the long run. We have tons of bag makers in my group. Share their posts! Even if you are a bag maker! We’re in this together! I don’t promote bag selling in my group because most people in there are bag makers. I do share their posts from their page. But I do support and allow those with small businesses to promote their bag making items. New on the storefront is Tanja Morei! To my knowledge she hasn’t opened sales yet, but she’s got some custom digital design vinyls that she designed herself! You’re not going to want to miss out!

Cinnamon Baked French Toast
Recipe courtesy of Ree Drummond on Food Network
|
- Level: Easy
- Yield: 12 servings
- Total: 13 hr
- Prep: 15 min
- Inactive: 12 hr
- Cook: 45 min
Ingredients
French Toast:
Butter, for greasing1 loaf crusty sourdough or French bread8 whole eggs2 cups whole milk1/2 cup whipping (heavy) cream1/2 cup granulated sugar1/2 cup brown sugar2 tablespoons vanilla extract
|
Topping
1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon salt Freshly grated nutmeg 1 stick cold butter, cut into pieces, plus more for serving Warm pancake syrup, for serving 1 cup fresh blueberries, for serving
|
Directions
Special equipment: 9-by-13-inch baking pan
|
- For the French toast: Grease the baking pan with butter. Tear the bread into chunks, or cut into cubes, and evenly distribute in the pan. Crack the eggs in a big bowl. Whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Pour evenly over the bread. Cover the pan tightly and store in the fridge until needed (overnight preferably).
- For the topping: Mix the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt and some nutmeg in a separate bowl. Stir together using a fork. Add the butter and with a pastry cutter, and mix it all together until the mixture resembles fine pebbles. Store in a re-sealable plastic bag in the fridge.
- When you're ready to bake the casserole, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Remove the casserole from the fridge and sprinkle the topping over the top. Bake for 45 minutes for a softer, more bread pudding texture or for 1 hour or more for a firmer, crisper texture.
- Scoop out individual portions. Top with butter and drizzle with warm pancake syrup and sprinkle with blueberries.
