HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US!
This month marks the first anniversary of Barb’s Bags...got interfacing? A HUGE thank you to all who have supported me during this adventure, particularly all my fabulous customers!
|
This has been a challenging, work/filled, blessed, adventure for this 71 year old, to say the least! God knew before I did I’d need to supplement my income in November with the loss of my husband. This little business saved me from ending up on the streets! But it was created so that I could help others, especially those on fixed incomes like me, to afford them the ability to craft! Sewing is healing! Its rewarding! Its fun creating! It takes our minds off of the pain so many of us endure daily, or other issues life deals us. My goal was to provide affordable woven interfacing to help those less fortunate. I chose to find a woven interfacing because its used as a base before any other interfacing applied. And because it was expensive at 20” wide. The huge bonus was finding something even better than what was currently available! That was God’s doings! I take no credit! God led my whole journey! How awesome is He!

Light reactive fabric! Its 60” wide, cotton jersey knit! Use for apparel, or stabilize it with wovenFuse for bags! I didn't realize the bolt only has 10 meters so I won’t have much to start. But I wanted to try it, and see how much interest there might be in it. My supplier is aware I need more! So be patient as we try this new item!

PLUS.....Rivet Rulers are also coming soon! My supplier is on vacation but my order will be cut first when they return first of July. These will be an add-on item only so there’ll be no shipping charge for them. The only pkg they will not fit in would be the 7yds wovenFuse +1 yd Decovil light. Price will be about $25 for 3 piece set.
