WovenFuse2 has been a true hit! It’s an awesome addition to my inventory for super bag making results! If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out! I’m having a little difficulty keeping it stocked but I’m trying hard! Its currently available! Yay! Decovil Light will be available this week after a dockers strike held me up. Hidden strap connectors
"I came up with this years ago. Found these older pictures in my computer and thought I'd watermark and share them. I believe in using what is effective, no need for an expensive hole punch and I like the chisel better as it makes for a tiny opening which *I* prefer." -- Marlys

*HIDDEN STRAP CONNECTOR*
|
Step 1. Cut the opening. I like this tool because the opening is minimal. (1 inch Chisel tool found at your local hardware store)

Step 2. Now it a good time to use your edge paint on the opening.
|
|
Step 3. Glue reinforcement strip onto leather.
|
|
Step 4. Mark or make sure you know where you want to stitch. I put my connector in, then make an indentation with it then mark it.
|
|
Step 5. Stitch forward and back a couple times for strong hold.
|
|
Step 6. Slide the connector into place.
|
|
Step 7. Pull through the opening
|
Step 8. Stitch across the top and add rivets or Chicago screws if so desired.
