Happy Springtime y’all! It’s a beautiful time of year here in North Carolina! I love this time of year where everything comes to life. Great motivation for pulling out the sewing machine!

Have you tried all my new products? This month’s feature is LuxeFuse! LuxeFuse was created/manufactured ...JUST FOR BARB’s BAGS...got interfacing? .... so got interfacing is only place you’ll find it. It’s almost identical to Decovil light. Gives just slight more structure, looks just like Decovil light, resists wrinkling, it’s washable, and LESS EXPENSIVE! You can find it here: LuxeFuse | Got Interfacing?

Here’s a couple of customer’s posts from my group:

“I use Barb’s products exclusively. I love the Luxefuse and Wovenfuse combination and it’s what I use in most of my bags. I check my supplies regularly to make sure I don’t run out!” Kay

“LOVE LOVE LUXEFUSE & WOVENFUSE 2! Sometimes ya just gotta shout! This product, Luxefuse, is wonderful and less money than Decovil Light and I love it more!! When I receive it folded, I simply roll it and within 1 hour it is perfectly smooth in it's roll.

Barb's shipping is quick and her high quality products sure make a difference in my business. Love gotinterfacing.com

No matter how soft and supple the Faux Leather, I use 320 degrees for 6 seconds and Luxefuse is perfect!” Patty

In the Spotlight

This month’s spotlight goes to Sarita Coffman!
Gorgeous job, Sarita! PM me for your prize!

“I have made 4 Casey Pouchettes in leather and they went to their new homes. This is the latest Casey at 115% in vinyl and I used my sample piece of the soon to come Luxefuse on the exterior pieces of this vinyl. (I was a tester for Barb). Love it! I used Wovenfuse 2 on the interior lining pieces and Wovenfuse on the exterior pocket and the interior pocket. The tags are designed and made for me by Angie Baroch of ARC Expressions…my beautiful daughter."

Fray Check or Sewer's Aid

Great tip from Julianne Hildeman. Pay attention when you reach for the bottle of Fray Check or Sewer's Aid. These two bottles look similar but do very different things. I've accidentally gummed up the works by putting Fray Check on my machine needle and stained fabric with a drop of Sewer's Aid. I added colored labels with big block letters to get my attention!

Thank you so much to all who support Barb’s Bags...got interfacing!

We are living in difficult times for sure. Scripture for June....

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matthew 5:10-12
